fantasticfemme-deactivated20120 asked: I'm disappointed that you associate "obesity" with unhealthy living. Obesity, by definition, is an individual with a body mass index over 30. It does not imply that the individual is unhealthy, nor does it measure physical activity and eating habits. Being an "obese" person is not associated with poor health - a fat, active person is more healthy than a thin, sedentary one. Weight is not an indication of lifestyle, and assuming somebody lives a specific lifestyle because of their weight is judgmental. Being "gorgeous, unique, (and) brilliant" should not end if that individual has the wrong body mass index.
Obesity can be extremely unhealthy, but as a society, we’re letting it get really out of hand. I don’t thing your weight indicates your lifestyle, I’ve never said that. I don’t want anyone to be unhealthy on either extreme.
Also, I never said being obese wasn’t beautiful. It is beautiful and I would never say anything to the contrary.
