I think it’s pretty obvious that I’m a liberal/democrat so my view on the republican party is obviously negative. I try not to jump to conclusions immediately because they’re categorized as a republican though. I spent a long time as a history/international relations major, so I know how important it is to not generalize. I always look into their opinions on the subjects that are important to me, and because of where/how I was raised and my personal opinions, I almost always disagree with the republican agenda. That doesn’t mean I hate all republicans. I mean, democratic candidates can do assbackwards and shady things too.

I think you really need to pick your candidate every single election based on how their opinions align with yours, because in the end, they’re all politicians fighting for votes, so it’s hard to chose someone you know will make only positive impacts and be fiercely for the people.
