B and I are doing a 30 day challenge
Join us if you’d like. Instead of it being an extreme push for 30 days, it’s integrating our fitness into our lives better, instead of letting it overwhelm our lives. This is a lifestyle for us and it always has been, but it’s easy to get obsessed. We have day jobs, friendships, B has a girlfriend and I have a blog (shh, this isn’t sad).
So this is to keeping it balanced, focusing, and holding each other accountable to bust through the last few pounds, add a few inches, or create better definition. The rules are:
- No scale. Progress shots only.
- In and out of the gym in an hour and a half tops
- 2:2 treadmill/elliptical HIIT every other day
- Track and consistently add weight. 5 - 10 pounds every two weeks depending on the body part.
- Increase the big three (bench press, squat, deadlift)
- MOAR protein .8 grams per pound. Have fun doing the math, B.
Her is our day by day workout routine, free weights only
Sunday - rest day
Monday - Arms
Tuesday - Chest & Back
Wednesday - Cardio only
Thursday - Legs
Friday - Shoulders
Saturday - Road/trail running
